When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Okay. How do I even begin to explain? XD This is an idea of something that occurs more toward the end of the third story. Really, it's more symbollic than anything. I don't want to get TOO into it (I'm not ready to spoil things), but you can probably get a general idea. I'll let you interpret for yourselves. XD Kelenco looks pleased... as usual. >_>; *SHOT* Originally started as a sketch... I was going to leave it as such, but I remembered the blending stubs I'd bought recently, and decided I'd put them to use. I hadn't done a good pencil drawing in ages. Things I was painfully reminded of during the process: 1.) No matter WHERE I start drawing, I ALWAYS end up with a layer of lead on the side of my hand. ALWAYS. 2.) Feet are a pain in the ass to draw. Even though a lot of my characters only have three toes on each foot, it's STILL a bitch to draw. 3.) I came to realize (again) why I never really drew wings in more intricate pictures very often. Wings are either painfully simple, or painfully detailed. There's no working around it; that's the only way to make them look decent. 4.) I cannot draw straight lines. I think I can, but just when I let my guard down, I realize that SURPRISE! It's not. I suppose it's this exact reason why rulers and straightedges were invented. XD *SHOT* 5.) Mechanical pencils are all fine and dandy until you have to reload. And I had to reload my lead THREE times. ...that's a lot of lead. >_< *SHOT* Deuce, Kelenco, and art is © ~CoolKidCoco |

Impia tortorum longos hic turba furores
Sanguinis innocui, non satiata, aluit.
Sospite nunc patria, fracto nunc funeris antro,
Mors ubi dira fuit vita salusque patent.
1) That always happens to me, which is why my drawing becomes quite smeared at the end.
2) I can't draw feet/hands in general. I have to stare at my hands again. @_@
4) Straight lines are hard... which is also why my drawings are always somewhat crooked.
5) The only thing I don't like about mechanical is that the lead snaps.. I use 0.7 ~ 0.9 now, but. XD;

1.- Hmmm, true. Lead will be always in the hand, but still, you have to be drawing, and then re-touch it...mh, lovely vicious circle. Althought that many have reccommended that you "paste" the sheet (to where you work), or use gloves, it will still becomes either, smeared by touch or smudged by slight friction.
2.- Well, it's hard to draw either hands or feet in general (...how i have problems to do those...); guess it's just matter of constant practicing.
Numbuh 3 was answered already heh
4.- Neither can I draw really straight lines, that's the reason of why my pencil drawings and sketches look so...rough, i do them marking more than one line, so together they "emulate" being a straight line...
